Second Time is the Charm!

Image
Well, after a lot of work I have successfully pieced the top of the baby quilt!  My advice for folks using this pattern is to build each flower and then piece as you go versus building all the flowers and hoping that they all fit together as they should.  Ask me how I know this...  In any case, it is an absolutely stunning baby quilt top and I am looking forward to doing the quilting and the binding later on this week. The three colors of background (misty grey, pale yellow and Kona grey) all work really well with the fabric  and the cute elephants in the center of each flower.  The Moda Sunkissed collection makes a great gender-neutral baby quilt, no doubt about it.  Now I just need a baby for the completed quilt. Happy quilting! Susan
